Practice Areas
Growing up in a small town of 500 people in what she calls “God’s country” (a.k.a. the area around La Crosse, Wisconsin), Janell spent much of her childhood hearing her family members tell her she ought to be a lawyer. She followed their advice. Thanks to an Employment Law course in law school, she found she was fascinated by the “alphabet soup” of laws that employers must follow. Now, helping them navigate those laws is her specialty.
Janell keeps quite busy outside of WFJ, engaging in “all things outdoors,” and learning as much as she can. (Currently, she’s working on learning French, as well as the ukulele.) Otherwise, you can find her with her family in Wisconsin on Sundays, cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
